Description: La Certosa di San Lorenzo di Padula was erected in the '300 family from San Severino, Lords of Cilento.
Architecturally there is recognized in the plant form of a gridiron, in memory of the death of San Lorenzo, who was burned alive on a grill right.
With its 50,000 square meters is the largest in Italy.
The Monastery has survived well preserved with its chapels, halls and park. |
